One day you will learn our ways
but. I'm also insane
In the membrane
Once upon a time, fetch the airplane
it's up in the brain
But lion has no mane
For instead he posesses a cane
A cane with which he feels lame
Not only lame, but he feels as though he brings great shame
Poor, Poor Lion- a beast of many a stain
A stain upon a train that ran him over in the rain
Just look at dat mane!
Silence overshadowed a life that had been so plain
the end.
i'm not slow
i'm not dumb
i'm not broken.
each day i grow
i understand
i pray.
understanding is difficult
hearing is impossible
speaking is invisible.
I learn to speak
I learn to listen
I learn to hear.
no matter how many times
I repeat.
the tears in my eyes
the shake within my body
i cry.
to understand one
you have to know
another.
i'm not slow
i'm not dumb
i'm not broken.
though i'm human
she awakens in her bed
the clock ticks twice
the sun rises above her head
the sweet smell of flowers enter her nose
she takes her bag and opens the door
each step carefully
her hands tightly wrapping around the handle
of her delicate memories
she looks up at the sky
the clouds passing by
tick-tock
a little girl laughter fills her heart
a father by her side
two hands wrapped tightly around each other
smiles each between their lips
the father and little girl skip in at the beat of the clock
they follow a path to the oceans beyond
tick-tock
she walks down to the beach
sits down on the bench and looks beyond the ocean

we are from the same seed
we are from the same house
and yet we fight
we terror each other
until the nightmares
overwhelm us
we don't protect each other
we get jealous
we tear at each others
emotions
we are siblings
we are suppose to
protect and love
support and care
we drive our parents crazy
we get on each others nerves
we argue on things that don't matter
our parents always tell us
we always are going to have
each other when they die
why can't we get that in our heads?
we get out of control
what ever happened to smiles?
we are pulling us apart
we are siblings
we are suppose to
protect and love

I saw a person bundled up in the corner of the school.
they seemed worn down as if someone came along and
took everything they had.
so I remembered the day, I was the exactly like that person
and someone came up to me and asked,
"What is it like to be a dreamer?"
I would wonder if this was a dream or real life
I would stare at them as if it was impossible for that kind of question
I would give them a hug and never let them go
A real dreamer, never lets go
Someone came up to me and asked me
"What does a dreamer do?"
I would laugh at them, like they have lost their mind
I would take their hands and bring them to safety
I would
"Stop! Stop! Thief!"
"Catch that girl! She stole from me!"
"Which way did that girl go?!"
The voices disappeared as soon as the girl stepped into the alley. Her breath became heavy as she took out the gold coins out of her pocket. She looked around making sure no one was coming and quickly changed to her school clothes. She has been doing this for a year, stealing money from stores; especially from the old man who works in the bakery. Through she thought he was a bit greedy anyways.

it boils down in your insides
it creates fire
it makes your whole world see red
it makes you blind with anger
it is abhorrence, aversion, anathema
and i can't tell where it hides
it targets
it murders
it lies
it starts war.
the venom sinks into your skin
and poisons your heart
it breaks relationships
it creates jealously
the animosity of
ruthless minds
broken.
the pain never
seems to fade
it holds grudges
it never lets go
of the past
it has forsaken
it has turned bitter
the hankering
died so long ago
it is a gift of
the unloved
it is an abomination
that can't be stopped
it only hurts
it creates pain
it feeds so
